Go Air
Jeh Wadia founded Go Air in November 2005. The Wadia Group owns the airline as a subsidiary. The airline began its operations with an Airbus A320 aircraft. It operated its first flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in November 2005. Initial operations were limited to four destinations, including Goa and Coimbatore. The airline plans to add 36 more aircraft by 2008. The airline announced revised plans in March 2008 to operate 11 aircraft and serve new destinations in South India and the North East by 2008.
Go Air had to reduce the number of flights it used in June 2008 due to rising fuel prices. British Airways expressed interest in purchasing a stake in Go Air in January 2009. In November 2009, SpiceJet, an Indian airline, entered into negotiations over a potential merger. The talks ended in a no-deal. It became India’s fifth-largest airline by market share in April 2012 after Kingfisher Airlines was demolished. The airline hired JP Morgan, an investment bank, to search for potential investors in 2013. The airline has experienced slow growth compared to other airlines established around the same time, such as IndiGo or SpiceJet. These airlines have a more significant market share, larger fleet sizes, and more destinations than the airline.

Business-Class Meals of Go Air
A recent trip to India allowed me to fly with Go Air. It is a low-cost airline that is based in Mumbai. I had initially booked my flight from Delhi to Mumbai in economy class. I also pre-ordered food. The airline offered cheap upgrades to business-class class upon check-in, so I took advantage of it.
BUSINESS-CLASS Go Air
Business-class cabins are very similar to European business classes. The seat in the middle of the plane is free. Lounge access is available, and meals are included. It was served with Dahl, vegetables, rice, and some Gulab Jamun. Although it was a good meal, it looks more like an economy-class meal. Go Air does not offer meals for economy passengers. Instead, you can pre-order snacks and sandwiches in the economy.
